Liverpool agree Alisson fee with Roma, set for talks with Brazil goalkeeper

iverpool have agreed a world record fee with Roma for goalkeeper Alisson, sources have told ESPN FC.

Liverpool have met the €75million asking price for the Brazil international and been granted permission to speak to the player about a possible transfer to Anfield. Should a deal be completed, the fee would be a world-record amount for a goalkeeper, surpassing the £39m Manchester City paid Benfica for Ederson in 2017.

Alisson, 25, is on Chelsea’s radar amid ongoing doubt over Thibaut Courtois’ future but Liverpool are in pole position to land the Roma keeper.

Roma and Liverpool both declined to comment when contacted by ESPN FC.
