Global T20 League: Bloem City Blazers snap up red-hot Pollard

Kieron Pollard became the first international marquee player to be picked at Cricket South Africa’s T20 Global League mini draft as the Bloem City Blazers snapped up the in-form Windies allrounder in the event held in Cape Town on Saturday (August 26).

 

The eight teams and their think tanks will congregate again for Sunday’s big draft, where they’ll all pick 16 players each and fill up their squads.

Benoni Zalmi – Quinton de Kock, Jason Roy
Pretoria Mavericks – AB de Villiers, Dwayne Bravo
Stellenbosch Monarchs – Faf du Plessis, Lasith Malinga
Cape Town Knight Riders – JP Duminy, Chris Gayle
Bloem City Blazers – David Miller, Kieron Pollard
Joburg Giants – Kagiso Rabada, Brendon McCullum
Nelson Mandela Bay Stars – Imran Tahir, Kevin Pietersen
