Regional Under-17 Round 2 hit by rain

The most thrilling match of the day was Guyana vs Leewards. All 3 matches were rain affected. When the rain stopped play at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Guyana were 68/1. Upon the resumption and reduction of overs from 50 to 21, they were only able to add 3 runs to their total. Finishing their innings on 72/1. 
The revised target according to the Duckworth and Lewis method was 140 from 21 overs. The Leeward Islands had a shaky start but their batsmen stead the middle innings and just when they looked certain for victory, requiring 42 runs from 48 balls.
The Guyanese slow bowlers stormed back into the match. Grabbing 2 wickets in consecutive balls, with the last 5 wickets falling for just 11 runs. The leewards falling agonizingly 2 runs short of their revised target. Finishing on 138 all out on the very last ball.
