Money team, Young ballers, Hustlers score big

Guinness Greatest of the Street West Dem/East Bank Zone

The Guinness Greatest of the Street West Demerara/ East Bank Zone continued on Tuesday evening at the Pouderyon tarmac with nine action packed matches.
Among the most impressive teams were Money Team, Young ballers and Hustlers who inflicted the largest victories on another goal rush night.
Money Team, led by a hat-trick by Amoniki Buntin defeated Goed Fortuin 3-0.

Buntin was on target in the 5th, 7th and 18th minutes during his side’s onslaught.
Young Ballers of Crane had an identical victory over Gas team. It took the combined efforts of Lindsay Scott (11th); Tefon Welcome (17th) and Oswin Boyce (19th) to give Young Ballers the win.
The game between Harmony Ballers and Best Road Ballers was contrasting in nature. Eventual winners, Harmony Ballers got the better of Best Road Ballers 2-1 on penalties with the Jetty Gunners moving onto the next round after Shane Hamilton 12th minute strike helped his side past police.
Game four featured a 2-0 drubbing for Bagotstown Warriors at the hands of Hustlers thanks to John Waldron (2nd) and Rastaf Oselmo (17th).  Meanwhile, it would take penalties to declare Goal Getters winners after their match against Classic 7 time ended 1-1 after regulation.
Goal Getters Kevin Gordon had his fourth minute strike cancelled out by Daniel Gibson-(9th) before the 2-0 penalty result.
Hustlers made the best of game seven to win 2-0 thanks to Donovan Francis (7th) and John Waldron (11th) while it took Golden Warriors sudden death penalties to move past Shattaville Gunners.
Shattaville had Stephon Griffith’s opening minute lead cancelled 13 minutes later through Akeem Houston before the later won 3-1. Game nine was a carbon copy result for Brothers United over West Side Starz.
Matches continue on Friday with West Side Ballers playing Brothers United, Money Team against Jetty, ESPN taking on Harmony Ballers, Tajoe’s Admiral United opposing De Kinderen and Patentia Street Ballers will doing battle with Agricola.
Following a break, Young Ballers will have to play Goal Getters, Hustlers lace up to play Golden Warriors, Showstoppers take on Good Intent All-Stars and Hustlers play Patentia Street Ballers.
