The youths from Trinidad & Tobago won the 2016 WICB Regional Under-15 tournament which completed on Wednesday. T&T finished the tournament on 31.5 points after winning all 5 of their matches. Defending champions Guyana finished third after tying for points with Barbados who had a better net run rate.
The tournament’s leading run scorer was Barbados’ Seth Agard. He scored 200 runs at an average of 40 over 4 games. T&T’s Sameer Ali & Jamaica’s Romanie Jacob finished on top of the wickets column with 11 wickets each.
The tournament’s Most Valuable Player was awarded to Jaden Seales of T&T. Seals scored 131 runs and picked up 9 wickets.
